The police force of Quezon province recently boosted its force with the recruitment of 27 newly-trained members for their Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team.
According to Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, the recruitment of the new SWAT team members who will serve in solving crime cases in the province was made official after completing their 45-day training program.
During the graduation ceremonies, equipment including a new SWAT van, sniper rifles, bulletproof vests, laptops, and other gadgets were provided for the new members.
“The equipment will not be just for display but tools to combat all forms of criminality,” Armamento said.
