Filipinos have been granted maximum 90-day visa-free entry to the central African country of Rwanda according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
In an advisory, the DFA said that the visa-free grant has been effective since November 2017.
“The said visa-free entry for Filipinos was granted by Rwanda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and East African Community on the basis of reciprocity,” the DFA said.
Meanwhile, Rwandan nationals can enjoy visa-free entry to the Philippines for a maximum of 30 days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey or their next port of destination. The Philippine Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya currently oversees the bilateral relations between the Philippines and Rwanda.
