To ease the plight of the evacuees most especially the students suffering from the eruption of the Mayon Volcano, the military built temporary learning shelters for the students.

According to Brig. Gen. Arnulfo Matanguihan, Commander of Task Force Sagip, they are helping build the temporary shelters to quicken the building of the shelters. He also said that they are conducting free haircuts, film showings, and services from military doctors.

The Task Force Bakwit is also helping the evacuees in returning to their respective homes.
