Two suspected shabu peddlers were killed during police operations in Cabanatuan city and San Antonio town, Nueva Ecija last February 10-11, 2018.
According to Senior Supt. Eliseo Tanding, Nueva Ecija police provincial director, the suspects fired first. Arturo Cristobal was killed in a drug bust at Barangay (village) Sumacab Sur, Cabanatuan City on February 10, after he allegedly sold a sachet filled with a crystalline substance for PhP 1,000, said Supt. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief.
Meanwhile on morning of February 10 in San Antonio, Reynaldo Calison, who was on the police’s wanted list, was killed after he allegedly fired at undercover policemen during a police operation in Brgy. Sta. Cruz.
Recovered from Calison were six sachets of suspected shabu. The police said he was also tied to murders and robberies committed in Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Pangasinan provinces.
