Tougher discipline among cops to be first program of new PNP chief

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde’s first program for the police is focused on the discipline of his men.

On his first day of service, Albayalde warned his men to do their job well because he will not hesitate to remove undisciplined police from their service. The PNP chief also has his eye on police who sleep and extort money while on duty.

He also warned critics of the war on drugs. Albayalde particularly raised the European Parliament’s reported condemnation on the death toll of the administration’s anti-drug campaign.

The former NCRPO director insisted that there will be no any casualties as long as they will not fight against his men.
